Welcome home a new family member
The boys and girls that we have available to host are all around 15 – 16 years old, and will be in Australia or New Zealand for around 8-10 weeks, so it’s quite a short cultural immersion program.
In particular, this year we are working with a group of French students who speak excellent English, and are due to arrive mid-year and return home in August. The hosting is done voluntarily by local families, but the program and students cover all the school costs and fees, uniforms, tuition, plus their own personal expenditure, outings, entertainment etc. Our wonderful host families provide a safe and caring home environment, and treat their student as a member of the family.
In addition to the host family, we organise all the international and domestic travel, private school, insurance, home inspections, background checks and support services, so there is no stress or hassle for the host family.
About our International Partners
Student Placement Australia New Zealand draws on the experience of its international partners located around the world, who together aim to create a better world through global education and understanding.
These overseas partners are responsible for promoting the programs in their country, screening and selecting the cultural students in line with the selection criteria.
How to apply to become a host family?
To apply to host a student on our cultural program, simply contact us and we will send you an information kit containing a selection of student profiles and a Host Family Application Form.
